In this workshop, we aim to achieve the following objectives:
- Develop a deep understanding for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) values, concepts and practices
- Foster awareness of bias and its impact on culture, workplace dynamics and performance
- Understand the legitimacy, importance and benefits of diversity
- Explore successful DEI practices in all aspects of the workplace
- Develop inclusive values and behaviors across leadership, teams and the organization
Content

- Understanding DEI: Definition of DEI, understanding the legitimacy perspective, the values and key concepts and of inclusion and the value it holds for individuals, teams, organizations and communities
- Case Studies and Inclusive Works Practices: Presentation of success stories and case studies of inclusive leadership values, practices and strategies
- Unconscious Bias: Recognizing unconscious bias, understanding challenges and strategies for minimizing bias
- Analysis of inclusion in organization: Reflect and review existing diversity practices in the organization and practices and strategies for creating equitable HR policies, recruitment, and advancement opportunities etc.
- Inclusive Communication: Build inclusive communication to create a supportive environment for all voices, and underrepresented groups
- Psychological Safety: Cultivate a psychologically safe space and speak up culture to build engagement, foster wellbeing, and enable innovation and performance
Target Group
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion workshop is designed for professionals across various roles and departments within your organization, including:
- Leaders: To promote and implement inclusive work approaches, policies and leadership practices across the organization
- People and Culture Teams: Team members from HR who are seeking to build inclusive teams and
promote a a diverse, equitable and inclusive organization. Professionals involved in recruitment, learning, and employee relations - Team Members from Diverse Functions: All employees who wish to create a shared understanding and commitment to DEI at all levels within the organization
Methodology
Before the workshop:
- Pre-Workshop Survey: Prior to the workshop, the participants complete a survey to highlight experiences, strengths and performance risks and their expectations for the workshop
During the workshop:
1- 2 Day Virtual or Face-to-Face Workshop / Customized to clients’ needs
- Facilitator-led Sessions: Open discussions and reflections on DEI challenges and opportunities
- Expert Guest Speakers: Presentations from DEI ambassadors and leaders from diverse industries that practice inclusive leadership, to share their experiences and insights
- Group Activities: Breakout sessions for focused discussions, collaboration, and knowledge exchange, aimed at fostering an inclusive and diverse team
- Case Studies: examine case studies to identify successful strategies and best practices that can be adapted to their own organizational context
- Resources for Strategy creation: Providing accessible resources ensuring ongoing learning and application of DEI principles
After the workshop:
- Application to the participants work areas: The program goes beyond theory; emphasizing the practical application of DEI in practice using participants’ real-life challenges and opportunities
- Certification: Upon completion of the workshop, the participants receive a certificate of workshop completion and a badge demonstrating successful completion of the DEI in Practice Workshop
