- Develop management and communication skills specific to project management contexts

- Enhance leadership and communication skills in strategic project planning, successful results and project execution
Content

- Introduction to Project Management: Definition of PM, value and types of project management e.g. Traditional Project Management, Agile Project Management, Waterfall Project Management
- Project Initiation and Planning: Project charter, business cases, benefit management plan, Risk Management. Understanding the initiation phase and developing a solid foundation for project planning, including scope definition and stakeholder engagement.
- Project Execution and Monitoring: Work breakdown structure and addressing the execution phase, focusing on effective team management, tracking progress, and monitoring project performance.
- Case Studies: Participant presentations of case studies
- Risk Management: Identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks where participants will learn how to identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure project success
- Stakeholder Engagement: Stakeholder identification, communication planning, and effective engagement
- Alignment in Project Managers: Effectively aligning projects with organizational strategy by understanding the strategic aspects of project management, ensuring that projects contribute to overarching organizational goals

The Project Management Fundamentals Workshop is designed for all team members within your organization. It's ideal for:

Methodology
Before the workshop:
- Project Management Skills Assessment (PMA): Prior to the workshop, a PMA survey will be conducted to assess the current status, PM strengths, development areas and experience of participants
- Pre-Workshop Survey: Prior to the workshop, the participants will complete a survey to understand expectations for the workshop
During the workshop:
1-2 Day Virtual or Face-to-Face Workshop/Customized to clients’ needs
- Knowledge Transfer and Best Practices: The participants acquire in-depth knowledge and best practices in Project Management based on the PMI and PMBOK tools and handbooks
- Practical Exercises and Case Studies: Participants actively engage in workshops to apply project management tools and techniques to personal/organizational real-world scenarios
- Facilitator-Led Discussions: Participants share experiences, discuss challenges, and learn from each other’s insights
After the workshop:
- Real-World Application: The program goes beyond theory, emphasizing the practical application of Project Management standards and best practices using participants’ real-life projects.
- Certification and Quiz: Upon completion of the workshop, the participants receive a certificate of workshop completion and a badge demonstrating successful completion of the Project Management Program

This program combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on application, providing a holistic understanding and practical tools. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate and badge, validating their successful Project Management Certification.
