DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion)
Neurodiversity @ Work
Neurodiversity at Work
Workplaces have been evolving for decades, accelerated by the pandemic, rapid advances in workplace mobility, new expectations from Gen Y and Z around work–life balance, and a growing awareness of the importance of diversity, including neurodiversity. Especially in the past five years, these forces have reshaped how organizations operate. In this context of talent shortages, hybrid work, and digital transformation, companies can no longer afford to overlook the strengths of neurodiverse employees. What was once considered an emerging DEI trend is now a strategic imperative for growth, resilience, and innovation.
What is Neurodiversity
Neurodiversity is the understanding that there is no single “normal” brain. Human brains naturally differ in how they think, learn, communicate, and process information. This variation includes profiles such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and many more.
Today we also know that neurodiversity rarely fits neatly into categories. There is often overlap between different manifestations, testing and diagnosis are not always conclusive, and strict labelling can be limiting or even harmful. What matters most is building awareness and embracing neurodiversity as a natural part of human diversity.
Some common myths to dispel:
- Neurodiversity is not a deficit: it’s a difference.
- Neurodiversity is not rare: around 15–20% of people worldwide are neurodivergent.
- Neurodiversity does not only create challenges neurodivergent people often bring unique strengths in creativity, focus, memory, problem-solving, and innovation.
As Judy Singer, who first coined the term “neurodiversity” in 1998, highlighted: “Everyone has their own unique profile of strengths and challenges. No one is good at everything.”

Our Approach
Our approach ensures that learning goes far beyond one-off workshops and events. We co-create neurodiversity programs that make a real impact on workplace culture, ways of working, employee experience, and overall performance.
In addition to awareness and experiential workshops, we provide ongoing consultancy to help build inclusive workplaces where neurodivergent employees can thrive. We start with an analysis of your objectives and specific challenges, then work with HR, leadership teams, and ERGs to adapt systems, policies, and practices across the employee journey.
The result: leaders and teams gain the knowledge, tools, and confidence to put inclusion into practice. Along the way, we share proven best practices that ensure neurodiversity is embedded into the fabric of your organization.
